Brittany Bryant, Licensed Professional Counselor

My name is Brittany Bryant. I am a Licensed Processional Counselor. I was born and raised in East Texas. I love all things sports and outdoors especially baseball and hiking. I am married to a supportive, hard-working man who shares the same beliefs and interests and we have three beautiful German Shepherds.

When it comes to therapy, my approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). CBT is one of the most effective methods of treatment.

I take a holistic approach to therapy. I believe everything is integrated. I look at multiple dimensions of wellness including spirituality, nutrition, sleep, and exercise, which is why I am also a Certified Personal Trainer and Fitness Nutrition Specialist. I like to break down our habits and make small changes that add up to major results.

Do you oftentimes feel like you’re on autopilot? Maybe you wake up and go through the day only to get home, get in bed and feel like there’s GOT to be something more in life. Maybe you've lost sight of your purpose. You may wonder how you even got to this point. You’ve lost your WHY. You may feel overwhelmed with the hustle and bustle of everyday life and don’t know how to slow down. You feel guilty when you think about doing things for yourself and even if you wanted to, you don’t know where to start.  I too know what it’s like to feel like you are playing tug-of-war with yourself; fighting your own battle within and doing what you can just to survive. Below are other common presenting issues I focus on.

Do you have questions?

HOW DO I KNOW IF YOU'RE THE RIGHT FIT?

Honestly, you may not know until our first, or first few sessions. I believe the therapeutic relationship is one of the most important determining factors in the success of therapy.

The first few sessions can reveal a lot, especially your goals for therapy and what approach you may need. There are different types of therapy approaches. At the end of the day, I want you to get the best, most comprehensive plan and I will help guide you in the right direction.
